Torstai tulee ennen perjantaita / Thursday precedes Friday

Torstai on toivoa taynna. Toivoa nopeasti saapuvasta viikonlopusta. Toivoa omasta ajasta.
Esikoisen kouluangsti jatkuu edelleen. Kuvissa hanen opettajalleen piirtama prinsessa Halloween asussa ja viesti opelle. Kylla sydamesta taas kirpaisi.
Saimme tanaan myos nauttia taiteen tekemisesta. Niin isompi kuin pienempikin tekivat sita antaumuksella. Mina seurasin vieresta hymyillen heidan touhuilleen ja taiteilijaelkeilleen.

Thursday is full of hope. Hope of fast approcahing weekend. Hope for time of my own. Hope of getting some of the things done that really need to get done but haven't managed because of the children.
Yesterday was quite something. I don't really want to think about it. Today was already better even though there's still room for improvement. If this trend upwards continues there's hope of even better tomorrow.
Today brought an invitation from Ireland (we did know about this a long ago but now the official invitation arrived). The school angst of our first born still continues. In the pictures you can see a picture she drew of a princess wearing a Halloween dress and a note to her teacher. My heart is crying. I wish we can overcome this soon. We've talked about this at home and also at school. She's a happy, smiling girl in school, playing with others and then telling me happily about all the things they did during the day. It's the leaving and the drop off that is causing all the anxiety. We're working on the issue at home and at school hoping to get her to "calm down" and fully enjoy the Kindergarten experience.
The sun was shining all day. Still T-shirt weather. However, mornings and evenings are quite chilly already. Today we also enjoyed making some art. Both misses really got into it. I was watching from aside, smiling at the little artists.
