Valkoisen paluu / Return of the White

Valkoinen luonto palasi yon aikana. Ja huomenna luvassa lisaa valkoista ihanaa lunta. Kuinka ihanaa oli kayda koiran kanssa aamulenkilla ja katsoa kuinka aurinko nousi. Eika kamera tietenkaan ollut mukana. Lumi narskui kivasti jalkojen alla ja lumitimantit saihkyivat nousevan auringon valossa. Kylla talvi on kaunis!
Kuinka mukava olikaan tulla sisalle lasten kanssa lumitoiden jalkeen ja nauttia kupilliset kuumaa kaakaota. Teimme myos periamerikkalaisia suklaahippukekseja (chocolate chip cookies). Loppupaiva onkin sitten varattu (niina hetkina kuin kerkean) pikkuisen neuletakin viimeistelemiseen. Loppu haamottaa.

White nature returned last night. More of the white wonderful snow has been forecasted for tomorrow. It was lovely to walk the dog in the morning, watching the sun rising. And of course I didn't have the camera with me. The snow made crunchy sounds under my feet and the snow diamonds glittered in the light of the rising sun. Winter is so beautiful!
And how lovely it was to come in with the children after doing the snow and enjoy cup of hot chocolate. We also made some fundamentally American chocolate chip cookies. The rest of the day is reserved (at least on the moments I can manage) to putting the finishing touches to the little one's cardigan. It's nearly finished.
