Jaahyvaisia jalleen kerran / Goodbyes once again

Aiti lahti kotiin tanaan. Ei se ero ole koskaan helppoa. Tytoista isompi kokee Momin lahdon aina niin hirvean vaikeana. Itkuilta (monilta taman paivan aikana) ei saastytytty tallakaan kertaa. :( Pahaa tekee tyttojen puolesta mutta minkas voit kun toisen on palattava kotiin.

Viikonloppu on mennyt yhdessa aikaa viettaessa. Lauantaina kavin aamusta yhden isomman neidin luokkakaverin synttareilla, jotka alkoivat jo yhdekslta. Sen jalkeen on tehty palapelia ja varkatty rannekoruja joulupukin tuomalla Rainbow loom:illa. Leivottiin kekseja. Ihmeteltiin kovaa ukkosenilmaa. Naureskeltiin vahan koiruudelle, joka ei halunnut lahtea vesisateeseen (juu, lumet saa kovaa kyytia). Pakkailtiin myoskin Suomen paketteja, jotka aiti lupasi toimittaa perille. Joillekin tulee joulu nyt tammikuussa. :D

Kasityorintamalla on ollut myos jotain uutta. Virkkailin kirjavan pikkuliinan. On tarve vareille. Ja tama syntyikin jamalangoista. Keltaisen varin kanssa oli hieman jannitysta etta riittaako vai ei. Riitti just niin etta jaljelle jai 5cm paattelya varten. Nyt se pitaisi vaan paatella. 

Sukat siskolle on myos pistetty alulle. Toivottavasti ei nyt hirveen kauheen kauaa kesta niitten tekeminen.... etta saa sitten laitettua menemaan.

Talo tuntuu taasen paljon hiljaisemmalta ja on tyhjempi. Kestaa vahan aikaa etta tottuu siihen etta yksi aani uupuu.

My mother went home today. Saying goodbyes is never easy. Big Miss always takes her leaving very hard. It's the end of the world to her. Didn't get through the day with tears (several rounds). :( My heart breaks for the girls but what can you do when she has to go home.
The weekend was spent together. Saturday morning Big Miss had a class mate's birthday party, starting at 9am. :O After that we made a puzzle. Have been making bracelets with Rainbow Loom. Baked some cookies. Were amazed by a thunderstorm in January. We laughed at our dog who didn't want to get his tummy or paws getting wet in the rain (yes, the snow has nearly all melted). I also packed some gifts going to Finland which my mum said she would deliver. Some will have Christmas in January. :D
Something new on the craft front as well. I crocheted a little doily. I am in need of colour. And this was made by using scrap cotton yarn I had. Yellow caused some moments of suspense as I as sure it would not be enough but I finished the round with 5cm spare. Now I just need to finish the ends.
I've also started sock for my sister. Hopefully they won't take too long to make..... so that I can actually mail them to her during cold season.
The house feels quiet and empty. It will take few days to get used the fact that one voice is missing.
