Paraatipaikalla / On with the parade

Paraateja on kiva katsella. Niista nauttii kuitenkin ihan erilailla jos on hyvilla paikoilla. Ja tiettyihin paraateihin ihmiset varaavat paikkoja tuntiakin ennen itse paraatin alkua. Me ei sentaan ihan niin sisuuntuneita oltu. Satuttiin kuitenkin saamaan tosi hyvat paikat paajuna-aseman parvekkeella ja sielta olikin hienot nakymat.

We loved watching the parades. You do enjoy them completely differently if you have good place to watch them. For some parades people reserve places by camping in them even an hour before the start of the parade. We are not quite that hard core. But we did manage to get really good places at the terrace of the Main Street railway station.
