Castle Rock on kiviroykkio rannikolla, Bostonin pohjoispuolella. Sita on kaytetty aikoinaan vihollisten tahyilyyn. Suoraan sen takana on upea linnamainen kartano. Koko rannikko olikin taynnaan mita upeampia kartanoita/vastaavia. Moni niista oli myos myytavana. Lottovoitto voisi olla paikoillaan. ;)
Neidit ihastelivat merta. Erityisesti pienempi oli kovin innoissaan ja huuteli: "Look Daddy sea!" "Mami, meli meli meli!!!!!" Hymyilytti tama intoa taynna oleva pikkuneiti niin meita kuin myos muita paikalla olleita.
We did an afternoon trip as far East we could get. If I had wanted any more east I would have had to take a boat and continue with it. Far far away behind the horizon was Europe.
Castle Rock is a rock formation on the coast, north of Boston, in Marblehead Neck. It's been a lookout point for enemy vessels. Right behind it is a gorgeous castle like mansion. The whole coast was full of huge mansions. Several of them were for sale. Lottery win would be quite nice right about now. ;)
Our misses were excited about the sea. Especially the little one was full of enthusiasm and was hollering: " Look Daddy sea!" "Mummy, meli meli meli!!!!" (meli being meri = sea in Finnish language). The little one made us smile as well as some of the others at the Rock with her enthusiasm.
