Ajanpuutetta / Time deprived

Niin se vaan paivat soljuu ohi yksi toisensa jalkeen. Jotenkin tuntuu etten ole saanut aikaiseksi mitaan. Juossut paa kolmantena jalkana paikasta toiseen hoitaen asioita. Tehtavien asioiden lista pitenee pitenemistaan vaikka sielta koko ajan jotain pois saakin. Ajasta on siis puutetta. Olen ollut myos YH aitina kun mies on matkustellut tyon puolesta. Oli viikon NYC:ssa. Kohta olen puolitoista viikkoa jalleen YH aitina. Kyllahan kaikki hoituu mutta illat tuntuu aika yksinaisilta. Saanpahan katsoa ainakin ihan omia telkkaohjelmia. 

Days flow by one after the other. I feel like I haven't been able to accomplish anything. I've been running like a headless chicken from one place to another after errands. To do- list is getting longer and longer even though I keep crossing things off of it as well. I'm definitely time deprived. I have also been flying solo as my Husband was in NYC last week in business. Soon I'll be flying solo again for a 1,5 weeks as he heads to Europe. I'm used to this so in that sense it's not too bad. Evenings are the only ones that bother me. After the girls go to bed is the time when I start feeling lonely. But I do get to watch exactly what I want from the TV.

Tyttojen tanssitunnit jatkuu edelleen aina melkein kesakuun puolivaliin saakka. 13.6. heilla on esityksensa. Viime viikolla ohjelmaa varten otettiin kuvat ja nutturat piti tehda molemmille.  Pikkuneidin mielesta se oli NIIN hienoa. Mun balleriinat! 

Isomman esiintymispuvut on kotona jo suoristumassa rypyista. Pienemmalla tilanne vahan hassu: puvut, jotka heilla piti olla tuli melkein kaikki viallisina ja ne lahetetiin takaisin. Tilalle ei kuitenkaan saada uusia samanlaisia. :( Opettajalla on ollutkin nyt tyota yrittaa etsia tytoille uudet tanssiin sopivat puvut.

The girls continue their dance lessons nearly to the middle of June. June 13th they have their recital. Last week they had a picture day for the recital program. Buns had to be made for both. Little Miss thought it was SOOOOOO awesome! My ballerinas!

Big Miss has her costumes home straightening from all the wrinkles. Little Miss doesn't: their costumes came nearly all with defects and had to be sent back. However, there's no more of the same costumes to be found anywhere. :( Their teacher has been now trying to find a costume that would go with their song.

Kevat on tullut kohisten. Kaikki puut kukkivat. Rhodot ovat kukassa. Kaikki kukkivat pensaat on kukassa. Mun syreenit on kukassa. Voikukatkin on kukassa. :D Mutta on niin ihanan nakoista joka puolella. 

Spring is here in full force. All trees are in bloom. Rhododendrons are in bloom. All flowering bushes are in bloom. My lilacs are in bloom. Dandelions are in bloom. :D But it's so beautiful where ever you look. 

Aitienpaiva oli taalla meilla samana paivana kuin Suomessakin. Tytot hemmottelivat aamuaisella. Sain runoja, kukkia, kaulakorun ja tuikun. Muuten vietettiin lahes normaalia paivaa. Tytot leikkivat ulkona. Mina leikkasin pari mekkoa kankaista odottamaan sopivaa hetkea. Mies ulkoilutti koiran (onkin muuten ainut paiva vuodessa, jolloin han tekee sen) ja teki todella hyvaa ruokaa. Grillasi pihvia ja kasviksia. Lisukkeena oli kermaperunoita. NAM!

Mother's Day here in US is at the same day as in back home in Finland. The girls pampered me with a breakfast. I also got poems, flowers, necklace and a tea light votive made by Little Miss. Otherwise we spent pretty much normal day. The girls were playing outside. I cut few dresses from fabric to wait for the right moment. My husband took the dog out (this is the only day in a year that he will do that) and he also made wonderful dinner. Grilled stakes and vegetables with creamy potato gratin. YUM!

Pikkuneiti kuukahti toissapaivan iltapaivalla sohvalle. Pelasi Ekapeli Alkua (suomen kirjain-aanne tunnistamista) ja yhtakkia tuli kovin hiljaista. Puhelin oli piilossa tuolla kasassa. :D Arki taalla siis rullaa eteenpain. Kohta pikkuneidin koulu loppuu mutta han aloittaa kesakuun alussa pariksi viikoksi pienen kesaohjelman. Auttaa vahan pitamaan jonkinlaista rytmia paalla silla isomman neidin viimeinen koulupaiva on 22.6. Olisi ollut 16.6. mutta meille kertyi 4 lumipaivaa jotka tehdaan sitten siihen paalle.  

Yritan muuten paasta ajantasalle tuon mun Project 365 postauksien suhteen eli niita saattaa tulla useampia nyt nopeaan tahtiin. Joka paiva olen kuvia ottanut mutta niiden tanne blogiin saaminen on valilla jotenkin niin hirvean ylivoimaista. ;) 

Little Miss totally conked out the other day in the afternoon. She was playing a game that teaches the Finnish letter- sound connections and suddenly it was way too quiet. My phone was buried in that heap. :D The normal everyday life is rolling on. Soon Little Miss won't have school anymore but she will  start a summer program in the beginning of June for few weeks. It will keep our normal routine going a bit longer as Big Miss won't end her school until June 22nd. It would have been June 16th but as we had four snow days we make them up at the end. 

Oh, I'm trying to get on top of my Project 365 postings here in the blog. Don't wonder if there's several of these postings in relatively quick procession. I've been taking pictures everyday but somehow getting them here in the blog has been too much. ;)

Aavekaupunki? / Ghost town?

Ei vaisinkaan! Vaan valokuvaajan paratiisi! Kyseessa ei ole mika tahansa paikka vaan Disney World:in Magic Kingdom, joka on aina tupaten taynna ihmisia. Siis ihan aina! Tallaisia kuvia Magic Kingdom:in paakadusta ei useasti saa. Kello oli 6.45 aamulla kun ensimmaiset on otettu.  Meilla oli klo 7 aamiainen varattuna erityisten ystavien kanssa. Paasimme siis puiston alueelle ennen varsinaisen vaen saapumista (joka sina paivana oli klo 7). 

Surely not! Photographer's paradise! This is not any other place but Disney's Magic Kingdom, which is always choco block full of people. I means always! You don't often get pictures like this of the Main Street of Magic Kingdom. It was 6.45am when I took the first pictures. We had breakfast reservation for 7am with special friends. So we got to the park before the hoards were let in (which was 7am at that particular morning).

Minahan otin tilaisuudesta kaiken irti ja rapsin kuvia. Aurinko ei ollut viela noussut. Taivas oli kuitenkin pilveton. Valot rakennuksissa paalla viela siihen aikaan. Eika katuja tallaamassa tuhannet ja taas tuhannet ihmiset olleet viela paikalla. Varoitus: kuvia tulee kyllastymiseen asti. :D

That meant only that I took the opportunity of this special moment and shot away. Sun was not up yet. The sky was cloudless. The lights were on in the buildings. And no thousands upon thousands of park goers present. Warning: death by photo ahead. :D

Pahus, kuvaan on paassyt muutama muukin puistoon saapunut ihminen :D (tosin hekin olivat menossa aamiaiselle samaan paikkaan kuin mekin).

Darn, there's few people in the picture in addition to us :D (they were going to breakfast to the same place as we were).

Kaikissa DW puistoissa on loputon maara ihania valokuvauksen arvoisia yksityiskohtia. Monet niista jaa kaiken hulinan keskella huomaamatta. Aamiaisen jalkeenkin puisto oli viela suhteellisen tyhja. Ja koska se ihmismaara ei ole vellomassa ymparilla niin ymparille kerkee katselemaan ihan eri tavalla. 

All DW parks are filled with numerous details worth photographing. Many of those will be lost in all the hustle and bustle. After our breakfast the park was still relatively quiet and as the masses were not very bad yet it made it possible to look around completely differently.

Koska luvassa oli aurinkoinen paiva niin ei muuta kuin aurinkorasva kehiin ja nassun rasvaus!

As the day was going to be sunny it was time to get the sun screen out and get that face protected!
